Im Zentrum gleitet ein fein modellierter Vogel über fließende Wellen, von Hand bemalt in tiefen Ozeanblau- und Türkistönen, die sanft im wechselnden Licht schimmern. Auf der Rückseite erinnert eine eingravierte Botschaft daran:

„Begin each day with a grateful heart.“ („Beginne jeden Tag mit einem dankbaren Herzen.“)

Getragen an einer warmen Kette im Antikstil mit dezenten Kristallakzenten wirkt dieses Schmuckstück zugleich erdend und leuchtend – wie eine Erinnerung, gesammelt am Wasser im ersten Licht des Morgens.
